Carrier/Backing: N/A (Unsupported). Adhesive: medium-firm acrylic. Release Liner: tan densified Kraft paper. Thickness: 6 mils (carrier, adhesive, liner) 2 mils (carrier, adhesive) 4 mils (liner). Adhesion: 25 ounces per inch (to stainless steel test panel). Service/Operating Temperature: up to 180F. Core: 1-inch diameter plastic.
The main difference between 3M 908 and 3M 924 ATG tapes is that 908 is pH neutral (acid-neutral). Scotch 924, like all ATG tapes, is reverse wound on the roll so it is designed to be used in an ATG dispenser.
